Each year many Brevard County residents fail to claim their federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Get the tax refund you deserve for free.
United Way’s free tax sites opened the last week of January to assist our community’s low- to moderate-income families, individuals and seniors.

2-1-1 Brevard Looking for Volunteers
Would you like to help spread a little Sunshine?
2-1-1's Sunshihne Service Volunteers provide daily telephone calls to seniors or disabled people who may be homebound or live alone.
Volunteers make daily calls to check on the individual's well-being, engage in brief friendly conversation and provide assistance in accessing community services when needed.
Volunteers are asked to work at least one 2-hour morning shift weekly from a Rockledge office.

Database Updates

In recent months, we have had calls from several agencies regarding requests they've received to provide data for other databases. Only you can determine whether it is useful for you to include your services in databases located outside of Brevard County. For the record, we will typically ask you for one formal update annually. This request will be clearly identified as originating from 2-1-1 Brevard and will include contact information for Lakesha McLaughlin, our Community Resource Coordinator. You are always welcome to ask questions, provide interim changes or updates at any time by contacting Lakesha at 631.9290, xt. 216 or by going to the "Community Services" link at the top left of our home page menu.
