Earned Income Tax Credit
The Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC, helps low to moderate income working individuals and families keep more of what they earn. In coming weeks, we will be posting info here & on our community calendar about local FEE tax assistance services that make sure you get 100% of any refund you might be owed.

2-1-1 Brevard Partners with SafeNet
2-1-1 Brevard is pleased to announce a new working relationship with SafeNet Home Safety Systems. SafeNet offers the Amberx personal emergency response system, helping older adults balance independence and personal safety. With twenty-five years' experience providing telephone reassurance calls to seniors through our Sunshine Service, we know that this is a common concern.
The basic system includes a home station and portable transmitter that can be worn as a wristband or pendant. The home station connects the user to the SafeNet Monitoring Center, staffed with Emergency Medical Technicians, and can be programmed to connect with the press of one button to 2-1-1 or other important contacts such as family members, physicians or pharmacies.
SafeNet also offers numerous additional features and tools to meet specific needs, including fall guard detection, medication reminders and more.
New customers who mention 2-1-1 when placing their order will receive a free medication reminder alert and ensure a contribution to 2-1-1 Brevard from SafeNet. Please visit the SafeNet website for more information.
